Jewell’s Acting Career

Jewell Cartales is a well seasoned actress with many years of experience. Jewell started her career working for local agencies in Cincinnati, Ohio. After signing with her first Talent Agency, it wasn’t long before Jewell became a popular name among actors and actresses in Cincinnati. She worked for Procter & Gamble, acting in commercials for products like Tide and Jergens. Her talents and abilities as an actress earned her a wide range of jobs, including commercials, industrials, training films, live performances, and film including movies and television. Her success and experience took her on to other cities in the Midwest and then eventually out to Los Angeles, California and now all over Florida. Among her most exciting jobs was George Strait’s music video, “The Seashores of Old Mexico” filmed in Cancun, Mexico. Her career as an actress, has taken her places around the world. She was considered a celebrity in Panama where she was flown in for a red carpet event, giving her autograph, and appearing at the opening of the film, “Magdalena Released From Shame”. Adding to her many talents she has done voice overs that range from commercial voiceover for utility companies, radio plays, and recently had the privilege of being the voice in reading the book of John, among other content for a woman’s audio bible called, “her.bible”. Jewell Cartales is ear prompter proficient, and experienced with the use of teleprompters. She’s quite comfortable with the memorization of lots of copy and directors love how she gives them the performance they are looking for with minimal, and frequently with only one take. Jewell loves working in the business and mostly enjoys people that she meets and coming together as a team to create and produce artistic, exciting, successful projects. She’s recently moved to the Tampa area of Florida and works as a live model on HSN. This new move is very exciting for Jewell and she is looking forward to working many more acting projects in this new adventure.
